Following the success of last year's exciting summer school, Anne Dalton and ABD Productions are extending their 2006 schedule to include their Easter Theatre School and new Performing Arts Clubs.

Anne Dalton has been inundated with enquiries about her plans for youngsters for 2006 (Fans of her Musical "Her Benny" will be pleased to hear that there are plans for it to return to the Liverpool Empire in Liverpool's Capital of Culture Year 2008.)

Over 100,000 people have seen ABD's youngsters. Some have had previous experience but some have been complete beginners, discovered and developed by ABD. Apart from corporate work, ABD regularly invite youngsters to perform with the other acts at ABD's Summer Showcases and are currently enrolling for Easter School and Saturday Performing Arts Clubs which have just started."
 
EASTER THEATRE SCHOOL

Not to be missed.
This exciting project involves a week's intensive course which will lead to a full scale production of another brand new musical by Anne Dalton, similar to last summer's successful "Lorenzo's Quest" which was premiered by thirty-five youngsters attended the Summer School course.
"The audience was staggered by the standard of professionalism achieved by the Summer School performers . This Easter will be no exception," says Anne.

Sessions involve all kinds of theatre production skills including: singing, movement, lyric interpretation, dialogue coaching, acting skills, improvisation, mime, solo and ensemble work, and youngsters are also encouraged to help with other aspects of the production should they wish. Previous experience is not necessary.

Youngsters for the Easter School need to be aged between 7 and 18. Enrolment deadline Saturday 12th March.

The Easter School takes place between 9.30 and 4.00pm from Sunday 9th - Sat 15th April at Crosby Civic Hall, Crosby Road North, Crosby ending with the première showcase of the new musical, "Computerland Crisis".

PERFORMING ARTS CLUBS

The Performing Arts Clubs have already started on Saturday mornings at Crosby Civic Hall, (located next to the library) on Crosby Road North from the beginning of February. They are open to youngsters from the age of four to sixteen and youngsters are still welcome to join.
